Box Light – Prototype.

The light operates by the same principle as the 'Twig' light. Inside the box are a transformer, halogen bulbs in heat resistant silicone and strips of copper tape along the inside of the box. The crocodile clips attach to the side of the box, where the lines of tape terminate and the pins at the base of each bulb punch through the cardboard, holding the bulb in place and closing the circuit.

The lampshades are made of heat resistant silicone so you can pinch them out or stick them in even when the bulb is hot.
