8 BIT collection

8 BIT Collection was commissioned by LABORAL Centro de Arte y Creación Industrial in Gijon, Spain for their new MATHSLAB. The technical structure is similar to that of the ENDOSKELETON installation but the visual vocabulery was widened to make a collection of different furniture with different functions.

The collection was built on site with the help of Simon Denzel. We were given acommodation in the museum and used it as an almost three week workshop. The designs were just sketches before and had to be finalised, tested and then manufactured in numbers on site.
